Die Forelle

Die Forelle

Die Forelle is German for "The Trout", Franz Schubert wrote this song for solo and piano, and it was published after eleven years. However, this song was a warning for women against being caught by angling  men. For example, he used fisher and the fish as the man and the young woman.
I think this song is very meaningful, even the music itself is quite simple, Mr Schubert might did it this way to get more children to hear. Because if childern can understand the meaning behind the song (or the poem), when they get older, they won't get trick easily, specilly for young woman who doesn't know much about the world.
